First off, we've been told it's common courtesy to wish a happy new year. So, here's to a productive, fun, successful 2020! We're hoping it will be as good as 2019 (which has been quite busy and fun for us).
We have lots of goodies for you in 2020, thanks to your constant feedback.
Over the last couple of weeks, we have released our premium plans, which has shown us how much you love typedesk (thanks!), and one piece was missing to make it complete: a deep update of our Windows/Mac app which has been with us from the start.
Between the gravy and the Christmas hops, we've been at work packing the first major version of typedesk for Windows and Mac! This version is a prelude to what's coming next, and we have focused on a few key features:
- Improved user interface
- Automatic updates
- Gracefully handle new subscriptions
- Login/Signup with Google
Under the hood, we have completely revamped the code in order to be able to push updates faster and offer a consistent and bug-free experience across all platforms! That's a great way to kickstart 2020 🥳
We'll be releasing this new version within the next few days so check your emails or our Facebook page to get the largest typedesk update so far!
